We work closely with community members to ensure our housing options are exceeding housing standards in the area. Establishing and maintaining these relationships allows us to be the local source for rental management knowledge and management service.

We manage a portfolio of over three hundred properties within Guelph and the surrounding areas. Property Link prides ourselves on offering high-quality rental properties ranging from single-detached executive homes to luxury apartments, commercial units and student purpose built condominium townhomes. We have strict quality standards that are followed to attract the highest quality of tenants.

 

Our Story

 

Real estate investing starts when you purchase your first home. For myself, Mark Roberts, and my business partner, Jamie Russell, this was in 1996. Our real estate investment careers really started to take shape in 2004 with the purchase of our first student townhome in the south end of Guelph.

At the beginning of this journey, we were very much involved with the entire process of property management, including the physical maintenance, the leasing, rent collections, and so on. By 2010, we had grown to a point where we no longer had the time or resources to manage the size of our real estate portfolio. We then reached out to hire a private property management company. This allowed us more time to focus on the growing our portfolio on the investment side of the industry as well as focus on our separate careers at the time.

In early 2014, I decided I wanted to change my career focus and concentrate on property management. Our portfolio grew to a point where it justified a full-time position to manage the number of units. At this time we debated starting our own property management company, but with further research, we agreed that an acquisition opportunity would be more beneficial as opposed to a start-up. With  that, we acquired 50% of the shares for Inspirah Rental Management. After 1 year of learning the company's procedures and policies, we decided the brand we wanted to bring to market needed a fresh look and start. In 2015, we purchased the remaining 50% of the company and released Property Link Management Services Inc.

We honestly believe we have put together a program that will exceed the expectations of our investors, our tenants and the rental market as a whole.
